Last Moments (27th October 2016) Today, you told me that you love me very much That love is returned You gave me a final kiss There will be no mention of a short battle The road has been long and you fought the good fight Your strength in the face of adversity has been astounding We are all very proud You retained your sense of humour on the darkest days Made us smile when we thought we had only tears Your reconciliation has brought peace Peace is all that we wish for you now Our hearts are broken But there, in memory, we will hold you forever With love from your niece, Emma x
